Ashes of Autumn emerged from former groups with a pure professional rock sound that has won them a legion of fans and generated plenty of industry hype including a 2021 WA Music Industry nomination for Best New Act and landing them a number of festival slots billed alongside national and international acts including End of Fashion, Redhook and Teenage Bottlerocket.

Consisting of the powerful vocal range of Melanie Flynn, driven by a wall of sound from Mat Kenworthy, Bryn Haythornthwaite, Jeremy Thomson & Ferret Geraghty, the group is heavily influenced by the Aussie and US rock scenes alike, delivering dark, explosive rock melodies. From the opening riff of “SUPERNOVA” to the dramatic melody of “MINOR ISSUES”, audiences are captivated by the ‘Rock Show’ that is Ashes of Autumn.
