Legs Electric summon the spirit of the golden days of heavy rock – overcharging '70s blues-based riffs with a full-power vocal attack and a live show worthy of Sunset Strip. In just a few years, the Legs Electric ladies have chiselled their name in stone as one of the most electrifying, must-see bands in their home city of Perth.
After winning over audiences across the country on the back of their ‘Two Sides’ EP, Perth’s electric ladies are back - and they aren’t pulling any punches. Legs Electric have kicked out the jams to consign any flailing romance shipwrecked on a weekend’s shore to the rightful trash heap upon where it belongs, unleashing a far more fetching figure to spark the dimly lit corridors of your desire - their new single, ‘Tuesday Girl’.
Produced by Simon Hallett of heavy metal heroes Psychonaut, ‘Tuesday Girl’ is a rock’n’roll vehicle bound to get you hot under the hood. With it’s chugging rhythms locking into a groove set to cruise, Legs Electric sharpen the attack of their standard swagger and stomp, before stealing away on chorus coated in candy floss. Sugar-sweet and dangerously addictive, ‘Tuesday Girl’ is bound to get your motor runnin’ before you head out on the highway.
Coupled with a hot-roddin’, Tarantino-tippin’ video from emerging Perth director Victor Lim, ‘Tuesday Girl’ packs all the thrills of Legs Electric’s dynamic live performances into one compact package.
In support of the single and video, drummer Kylie Soanes, bassist Erin Gooden, guitarist Elana Haynes,
and vocalist Ama Quinsee are ready and raring to set the road on fire.
Legs Electric will be touring in support of Tuesday Girl throughout April, taking their high octane show across WA. Earning their stellar support slots for Shihad, British India, Dallas Frasca, Ali Barter, Cherie Currie, Sebastian Bach, Uriah Heep, Ace Frehley, Blues Pills, The Datsuns, The Bellrays, The Baby Animals and The Superjesus to date, Legs Electric have had an exciting 2018 releasing their long awaited EP “Two Sides” touring east and west coasts of Australia, winning the "Tapped by Otherside" Brewery Band Tour competition, debuting to critical acclaim at the 2018 Byron Bay Guitar Festival and hitting the studios to release Tuesday Girl and take it road-tripping in 2019.
So get off your cloud, and plug into that sound electric - Legs Electric.
Gretsch Duo Jet
" I initially inherited this Gretsch "Duo Jet" guitar off my partner when my USA Stratocaster got stolen from my home in Perth about 9 years ago. I recently had some work completed on it to help suit my style and I've really become comfortable on it as a result.
It has a chamber in the back, and it's not as big as a hollow body so that makes it a bit lighter and comfortable for me. Taking the weight off my shoulders".
Gibson SG Bass
"I Bought my Gibson SG from Warrnambool about ten years ago because I desperately wanted this amazing short scale bass. Has amazing tone and The SG is the epitome of a rock bass, Plus I'm a midget so short scale is my best friend".
