- Where Can I Stay?

Margaret River has plenty of accommodation options both in town and throughout the wider region - check out our list of choice places to stay HERE.

- Where Can I park?

3hr parking for the Main Exhibition at Margaret River HEART is available at the front and rear of the building, though if you intend to stay in town we recommend you take your feet to the streets and make the most of the many events all within close walking distance of each other in central Margaret River. Alternatively, each venue has its own parking facilities as usual, though if you intend to drink we ask that you make a plan beforehand. Information can be found on local taxi services below.

- Does Margaret River have a taxi service?

Yes, you can call Margaret River Taxi Service on (08) 9757 3444 - see HERE for more info.

- What disabled facilities are there at the festival?

All of the venues have wheelchair access, and most have disabled parking options along with disabled toilet facilities. Margaret River HEART has all three. For seated performances, please contact us with details and we'll make sure to reserve you an easily accessible seat. Any Q's, don't hesitate to ask.

- Is this a family friendly event?

Yes - all ages welcome! We're all about inspiring the next generation of pickers and pluckers, and we've made the festival as accessible and welcoming as possible to facilitate this. There are plenty of free events, and paid events are free to kids 12 and under provided they have a parent with a festival pass as they will need to be supervised at all times. Many of the festival venues also have playgrounds and fun stuff to keep the kids happy, though some become strictly 18+ after a certain time, so if you intend to be out into the evening please contact the venue beforehand to be sure or check for an 18+ sign on the festival program. Youth (U18 years) also need to be accompanied by a parent/carer in our licensed venues. Please keep in mind that there may be some language or performances you may consider unsuitable for children due to some artists' freedom of expression. If you haven't already, check out the YOUTH PROGRAM.

- Are there food options?

Yes, you can find plenty of incredible options at all the festival venues, or a short walk along the main street if you want even more choice. The only exception to this is RAC Margaret River Nature Park, which will be BYO snacks for a family-friendly afternoon event, and Margaret River District Club.

- Is it BYO?

No, apart from RAC Margaret River Nature Park on Saturday afternoon, which is BYO food and drinks and will be a family-friendly event, so we ask that you drink responsibly.

The following venues offer alcohol service:

- Settlers Tavern (with the exception of the youth event Sunday Morning)
